Flip is formerly known as Flipgrid. The technology mimics the characteristics of a social media app like Tiktok and Instagram, but specifically provides greater control for educators. Using Flip, students can showcase evidence of their learning by posting videos. Their peers can also discuss with one another through videos.

In this video, Ms Lim Jia Jing shares about the affordances of Flip and some basic tips on how teachers can get started on Flip. Using the Google Classroom integration function, Ms Lim also demonstrates how easy it is to start a topic to invite students to record their videos for discussion.
Mr Leung Yong Kang reflects on his experience using Flip as a tool for goal-setting, reflection, and problem-solving in Mathematics. He sees Flip as a familiar tool for students, and believes that Flip will lower the barrier for his students to learn more willingly.
