This compulsory event for JC1 students is held across TWO DAYS on 18-19 Nov. Each student must sign up for the following sessions:
For Day 1 (18 Nov), students can choose 3x F2F industry speaker sessions (No sign-up required for Career Booths).
For Day 1 (18 Nov), students can also opt to attend a Scholarship Landscape Talk.
For Day 2 (19 Nov), students can either choose to attend
1x F2F Learning Journey OR
2x VIRTUAL breakout sessions.
(Students do not attend both LJs and Virtual breakout Sessions)

Dr. Yuanto KUSNADI is an Associate Professor (Education) at the School of Accountancy of the Singapore Management University. Dr. Kusnadi has over ten years’ of teaching experience in accounting for entrepreneurs, financial management, analytics for financial instruments, and experiential learning through real-consultancy projects. He has been doing research on issues in corporate finance, accounting, and corporate governance for international firms; as well as experiential & innovative teaching pedagogy. His research papers have been published in prestigious international journals and her served on the program selection committee of several international conferences. His research has also been profiled in the Straits Times, the Business Times, Lianhe Zaobao, SGSME, Perspectives@SMU, the New Paper, Asian Scientist, and the CFA Digest.
Architecture / Design and Education
Ar. Jonathan Christian Chin is an award-winning architect with experience living and working in Singapore and Copenhagen. A registered architect in Singapore, he has contributed to internationally renowned firms such as Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and DP Architects, working on a diverse portfolio including community, sports, residential, and mixed-use architecture projects. As a BCA-DP Architects Built Environment Scholar, Jonathan earned his Master of Architecture from NUS in 2017, receiving top honors, including the Aedas Medal and Prize for Architectural Design, the Lee Kip Lin Medal for Best Graduation Dissertation, and the Edward D’Silva Award. His public space installation design, Park Yourself, won the URA-REDAS SPARK Challenge in 2021 and later received the prestigious Singapore Good Design Award in 2023. Most recently in October, he was featured as a “Human Book” in NARRATIVES, a Human Library event organized by the Singapore Institute of Architects' Young Architects League.".

Ted is the Head of the Portfolio & Collateral Management team, responsible for the ongoing servicing and credit portfolio monitoring of all loans and bonds for the Clifford Capital Group.
Prior to this role Ted was the Chief Operating Officer of Clifford Capital Pte Ltd, where he was responsible for overseeing all operational and administrative matters. He was previously a senior deal originator for CCPL, responsible for originating and closing debt financing transactions in the infrastructure sector across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas.
Ted holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the London School of Economics and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst as well as an ISCA Infrastructure & Project Finance Professional
Engineering / Design/ Technology
Cai Ruihe is a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with over eight years of experience in product development and team leadership. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and has been instrumental in driving innovation at companies like Dyson and Transcelestial Technologies. At Dyson, he was the first hire for the New Product Innovation team in Singapore, leading early-stage
mechanical design projects.
Previously, Cai co-founded Souschef Pte. Ltd., where he served as Chief Technology Officer, leading a team of engineers in developing modular beverage automation systems. His expertise spans mechanical system design, rapid prototyping, and mass production, making him a valuable asset in any engineering role.
Passionate to inspire the next generation of engineers, Cai is an avid supporter of the James Dyson Foundation, where he conducted industry sharing and supported judging sessions in schools and universities.

Isaiah Das is a 12 year Saint, having studied all the way from Junior School to JC. He is a father of four and currently working at a large global bank. In his day job, he leads the HR Digital Service team where he specialises in transforming the employee experience by making the world of work work better everyday through AI and Technology. He is an active member of a local church and has been involved in mentoring youth and young adults for many years.
He holds certifications in PMP, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, CIPD, and IHRP, and has been recognized for his achievements, including leading his team to win awards in Workplace Wellbeing and HR Change Management. A Valedictorian of the 2019 SMU HR Graduate Programme, Mr. Das brings valuable expertise in navigating complex HR challenges and optimizing organizational performance.

Upon graduating from National University of Singapore in 2020, Zhi Han joined ICA in the same year as a Direct Entry Inspector. In her 4 years with ICA, Zhi Han has experienced a variety of job roles such as being a Team Leader and Operations officer in Tuas Checkpoint. More recently, she was posted to Manpower Divion in ICA HQ. Her experiences across different facets of the organisation's work have contributed to her personal and professional growth, as well as a deeper appreciation of the value of her work.

Climate Science and Meteorological Services
Darryl Boh is a meteorologist with a background in Mathematics and Economics from Nanyang Technological University. He joined the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) in 2016 and underwent training at the Bureau of Meteorology in Melbourne, Australia. Thereafter, he served as an operational meteorologist at MSS for five years, before he transitioned to the International Affairs Branch in 2021. His expertise led to a secondment to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) from 2022 to 2024, where he contributed to advancing global meteorological initiatives. Returning to MSS, Darryl now works in the Meteorological Observations & System Division, Digital Service Branch, focusing on leveraging digital solutions to enhance meteorological services.

Michael Widjajana is an Australian-Indonesian Podiatrist based in Singapore, with a Master of Podiatric Medicine from The University of Western Australia. He began his career at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and now practices at East Coast Podiatry.
Licensed by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Michael specializes in treating a range of lower limb conditions, with a particular focus on pediatric care. He is skilled in managing complex cases such as congenital abnormalities and neurological deficits in children. Utilizing innovative treatments like Shockwave therapy, Michael is dedicated to improving mobility and reducing pain for both his young and elderly patients.
Fluent in Indonesian, he caters to a diverse patient base and is committed to community service, dedicating Sundays to volunteer podiatric services for the elderly.
Michael is happy that he has made the right career choice. Podiatric medicine has given him a stable career, good work life balance and has allowed him to acquire a skill set that is highly sought after in many countries.
Semiconductor Manufacturing
Ms. Yeo Hui-Mian, the Head of Department (HoD) for Electrical Wafer Sort (EWS) Industrial Engineering, began her journey at ST in 1999 as a shift engineer in the same field. She holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics) from NUS. Over the past 20 years, she has accumulated extensive experience in EWS Product & Test Engineering and was recently promoted to HoD in Industrial Engineering. EWS is a test performed on silicon dies, which are the materials that power semiconductors, to ensure every product we produce is consistently reliable.
Willoughby Niki Lee graduated from NUS with a Bachelors in Engineering, he is the co-founder of TinkerThings Global, a digital-social innovation consultancy that works with private and government stakeholders to build skills and trust through placemaking initiatives. His work in the international technology and development scene with ministries in over 10 countries. Notable projects include the intergenerational active ageing ecosystem in Asia to build digital trust and with MNCs on youth digital entrepreneurship to improve social mobility in Asia and Africa.

Insurance, Actuarial Science and Risk Management
Prof Joey Zhou is an Associate Professor, at Nanyang Business School, NTU, Singapore. He is a fully qualified actuary and certified financial risk manager with nearly two decades of experience in insurance, reinsurance, and public sectors. Before he transitioned to academia, Joey held key roles across various functions within the insurance and risk management value chain, including actuarial services, product development, distribution, business management, and marketing.
Mr Vincent Shi is the Chief HealthTech Business Officer for SCOR Digital Solutions, an innovation arm of SCOR. SCOR is a tier-1 global reinsurance company headquartered in Paris. Vincent looks after business development and insurance innovation in Greater China and Southeast Asia. With over 20 years of experience, Vincent has a diversified actuarial career, transforming from a corporate actuary to an actuarial consultant and now an InsurTech practitioner.
Pro Jade Nie is a seasoned educator. She is a qualified actuary and graduated with a PhD degree in Actuarial Science. Before joining NTU as a lecturer, she first worked at Ernst & Young (Shanghai) as an actuarial consultant, and later on worked at Alibaba Group as a data scientist. Her combined experiences in the insurance industry as well as the internet industry greatly inspired her interest in big data analytics and risk management.
Mengyuan Wu is an exemplary actuarial science student representative from NTU. Proactive and diligent, she has secured five internships across two years at leading insurance, reinsurance and Fintech companies, including Swiss Re, Allianz and SeaMoney. Mengyuan is passionate about actuarial science and is active in various initiatives including organizing case competitions and insight sharing for tertiary students.

Clara Lock has a decade of experience in journalism and content creation. She has written for The Straits Times, Her World, MINDEF and other organizations. She is the author of Stay Gold: An almost healthy boy in a mostly healthy world, a biography of her late best friend.

Assoc Prof Doreen Tan is a cardiology specialist pharmacist who has spent over 20 years in geriatrics and cardiology-related work. She purposefully designed the undergraduate integrated Cardiovascular Science and Therapeutics module, introducing changes to the undergraduate syllabus by bringing in blood pressure taking and electrocardiogram hands-on practicals in a bid to cement application and learning. She also led the design of the new NUS Pharmacy undergraduate Pre-Employment Clinical Training Programme for Year 1 to 3 undergraduates. Assoc Prof Tan previously headed Khoo Teck Puat Hospital’s Pharmacy Department, and crossed over to corporate development as Assistant Director (Value Office) before joining the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Science.
Assoc Prof Yau Wai Ping received her BSc(Pharm)(Hons) and PhD from NUS. She was awarded the NUS Overseas Postdoctoral Fellowship and was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard School of Public Health before rejoining NUS’ Department of Pharmacy in 2010. She has received multiple faculty- and university-level teaching excellence awards. Assoc Prof Yau is currently Director of the Pharmaceutical Science Programme and Deputy Head (Education – Undergraduate Matters) at the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Semiconductor and High Tech
Eugene joined AMD in 2006 and currently lead the IC design team in Singapore which works predominantly on high-speed serial interface IPs a.k.a SerDes for AMD’s high-performance computing and adaptive solutions.
He started his career as a chip designer at AT&T Bell Labs working on ASICs and ASSPs for applications that include networking, connectivity and storage.
He has a BEng in electrical and electronics engineering from University College London and a MSc in advanced communications and digital signal processing from Imperial College London.

Academic Research (Humanities and International Relations)
Choo Ruizhi is interested in studying how animals shaped the course of human histories: whether it was the fishes people ate in colonial Malaya, or the panther which escaped into the forests of the Upper Seletar in 1973.
He is presently a History PhD student in the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and is concurrently a Graduate Degree Fellow with the East-West Center, Honolulu.
Before Hawaii, Ruizhi worked at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, where he conducted historical research into Malayan communists, fish farming, and the pigs of Punggol. He also studied at the National University of Singapore, where he obtained his Master's and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
In his free time, Ruizhi likes to read science fiction and make friends with cats.
Arts Programming and Producing
JunMin’s current role as Deputy Director (Festivals) is to lead the programming teams for the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) and Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) in the conceptualisation, organisation and implementation of two annual marquee events in the national arts calendar.
Prior to joining AHL in 2017, she was with the programming team of Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay for a decade, where she led some of the centre’s key programs such as Baybeats, Flipside and the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown. Over 17 years of experience in the arts has honed her sensibilities for designing and delivering a wide range of programs for different audiences.
She’s grateful for the myriad opportunities to develop engaging original content with new and established artists as well as refining arts management processes to better support companies and projects. Junmin loves a good pun and seeks out fellow horror-flick fans and karaoke fiends.

Weng’s practice focusses on regulatory and trade matters, particularly on economic sanctions, export controls, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering.

Joey Ng is seasoned finance professional with more than 10 years of experience in finance, strategy, projects and corporate development. He has been in various roles covering strategy and investments in the marine and commodities space, finance and accounting in the oil & gas sector and audit for various industries. During the last 10 years, he was involved in various interesting projects. Some examples of them are,
Dual fuel merchant vessels (container ships, dry bulk carriers) which were one of the world's first,
Research on macro environment and forecast models, and
The purchase and sale of new marine fuels like LNG, Ammonia and Methanol.
Currently he is working towards driving the change towards a carbon free economy and creating a greener supply chain.

David is the payment gateway value-added services lead for Mastercard Asia Pacific, with coverage of >10 markets - looking after the enablement and prioritization of features which deliver customer delight.
In his >5 years with the company, David has experience across different roles in product management, account management, innovation and strategic partnerships.
David leads the >250 member Young Professionals (YoPros) Business Resource Group in Mastercard’s Singapore chapter, and enjoys discussing career advice, hiking as well as playing foosball in his free time.
Health and Social Sciences
Eugene is an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He contributes to academic teaching, supervises thesis work for nursing and allied health undergraduate students, and leads the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Nursing programme as the Programme Leader.
Eugene’s research interests centre around novice nurses’ transition to practice journeys and training effectiveness. He is also passionate about implementing science and nurse-led evidence-based practice projects in areas such as geriatric, oncology, and palliative care nursing.
As a strong advocate for lifelong learning, Eugene collaborates with various healthcare and adult learning institutions to design and facilitate impactful learning experiences. His commitment extends to clinical research related to older individuals, positively impacting both individuals and organisations.
Psychology
Dr Elizabeth Lau is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with a PhD with Masters of Clinical Psychology from Australia. She is a certified master trainer in Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) and certified practitioner in evidence based programs such as the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr Lau provides assessments and therapy to adults, children, couples and families on a broad range of issues including but not limited to trauma, anxiety/depression, adjustment, attachment, relationship difficulties and medical related pain and stress.
Dr Lau has a special interest in children, teens and families who struggle with social, emotional or behavioral challenges. She is experienced in providing forensic assessments in offending behaviors, parenting capacity, custody related disputes and access arrangements.
Prior to joining the private sector, Dr Lau was a Senior Clinical Psychologist at the Ministry of Social and Family Development where she headed a unit that provided assessment and therapy for families with child welfare concerns and juvenile justice involvement.
Dr Lau lectures at the undergraduate and postgraduate level and designed curriculum for postgraduate courses. She provides training and consultation to organizations and has been interviewed on current affairs programs by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Mediacorp. Dr Lau is proficient in conducting assessments and therapy in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Semiconductor Manufacturing / Engineering
Ms. Sivasankari Muthusamy is a Senior Firmware Engineer who has been with us at ST for many years. She graduated with a Master's in Electrical Engineering from NUS as well. She started as a junior engineer, developing Touch IC applications, which are the interfaces we interact with on our phones. Recently, she has been working on the latest folding devices from companies like Samsung and Huawei.
