The Asian Young Leaders for Human Fraternity (AYLHF) is a youth impact initiative by Assumption English School, as she celebrates her 70th Anniversary, in conjunction with International Friendship Day.
It provides a platform for young leaders of Asia, to connect, and communicate with each other. The quality of exchange between the young leaders encourages the building of bonds and forging of friendships, regardless of race, language or religion. This promotes the importance of mutual understanding and respect, and brings about the awareness of building human fraternity.
In addition, it also provides opportunities for students to learn to serve, serve to lead and to lead to inspire, as part of the school’s Learn for Life Programme (LLP), also known as the Dinan Leadership Programme. As the student leaders host student delegates from partner schools from various countries, and facilitate discussion and conversation on Human Fraternity, they can practise what they have learnt from the school’s Applied Learning Programme (ALP) titled SPeak English with grAce and Knowledge (SPEAK), which aims to develop confident and eloquent communicators who can articulate their thoughts and opinions well.
AES is privileged to have our international partner institutions, engaging in the pursuit of Human Fraternity endeavours since 2023. The partner schools are:
Montfort College, Chiangmai, Thailand
Assumption College Samutprakarn, Samut Prakan, Thailand
Kindai University Junior High School, Osaka, Japan
