Three Key Curricular Shifts
As an education system, we seek to transform every student in our care, developing them in ways that allow them to transfer learning in their future. To realise the twin goals of science education, let us make three key shifts in the A-level science curriculum, and design learning experiences with along four broad curriculum emphases.
The three key curricular shifts are depicted in the figure below.

To facilitate the design of learning experiences (LEs), teachers can try out this prototype “primer”, which summarises the POS and shifts, along with some actionable steps.
