We are honoured to be one of the first 9 schools in Singapore to offer the Chinese Language Elective Programme at Secondary Level (CLEP-Sec). Introduced by MOE in 2020, CLEP-Sec aims to nurture promising students to attain a high level of language proficiency in Chinese and to enhance their understanding of Chinese literature.

The AHS Global Classroom Programme consists of the Australian Connection and Chinese Immersion Programme, both designed to enhance global literacy through strategic partnerships with schools in Australia, China, and Taiwan.
On this programme, our students focus on cultural exchange, cross-cultural communication, and critical thinking through a 'Future Problem-Solving project with Cultural Intelligence' model. They discuss contemporary issues across countries, gaining confidence in articulating diverse perspectives. Our students also hosted their partner schools’ students in Singapore, sharing cultural insights through collaborative activities.
This is a three-year programme where students are exposed to minimally 50 hours of computational and design thinking. It aims to equip students with technological skills, enabling them to have future-ready dispositions and become value-creators.
Our Sec One students learn to code using micro:bits and our Sec Two students attend a weekly lesson on Artificial Intelligence. We also offer Computing as an 'O' level subject option. Click here to find out more.
Anglican Critical Thinking Skills (ACTS) Curriculum is applied to all subjects. The ACTS Curriculum is unique as it not only improves the quality of thinking, it is also values-based. The virtue of making fair-minded decisions is impressed upon our students as they consider the different perspectives and implications before taking actions. At AHS, we aim to develop innovative problem solvers through a three-year programme: i-SCoRe 1, i-SCoRe 2, and Sec 3 ACTSperience. Students learn to find solutions to problems with no pre-determined or 'correct' solution. Through our very own AHS Kickstarter Competition, our students are exposed to design principles and processes to help them think of novel solutions - creating value for others.
