Dear Gentlemen,

We will resume CCA from next week, Thursday 19 May.

As there is no more AC for the rest of the term, CCA will start at 3pm and end at 6pm, to give you maximum training time.

For the first session on 19 May, I would like to have a short discussion on the subject of Discipline.

As such, if you have not done so, please go to the Badminton Google Classroom (the code is cxpkd3b) and answer the question on whether Badminton, in the context of a school team, is a team or individual sport (or both) and explain why.

The training dates for the Jun Holidays will be finalised soon and you will be informed subsequently.

Regards,

Mr Clement Ho.

Dear All,

There is still CCA on HBL days.

For tomorrow 12/4, the 'B' Div school team and the Sec 1s should turn up.

Dear Gentlemen,

We will be continuing with eCCA for a while. We will resume next week starting 18 Oct (Mon), and the sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 4.15pm to 5.45pm.

It has been a while since the teachers and coaches have seen some of you face to face. We wonder how you are doing. As such, we would like you to commit to coming for eCCA at least once a week. Please indicate below which day(s) of the week that you can make it. You are encouraged to come twice a week.

https://forms.gle/P9FuQEYqHkapByq86

The National School Games will likely proceed in January 2022 and as such, the players who are likely to represent the school will also need to be ready physically. Hence the need for a consistent eCCA turnout.

We are aware that some of you are not allowed to put on shoes in your house. You can put on socks and attempt the static exercises on an exercise mat, which will protect both your house flooring and also your feet.

See you next week!

Regards,

Dear Gentlemen,

You would have heard that schools will shift to conduct eCCA. As such, the face-to-face sessions will be replaced with eCCA sessions that will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays for these coming two weeks.

These sessions are optional as you may be facing certain constraints (e.g physical environment) that will not allow you to join in. Having said that, you will need to maintain your physical condition and agility and these sessions will help you in that.

You will need the following:

a) 2m by 2.5m space in your house for the static exercises.

b) Dressed in CCA / Badminton attire including shoes (which protects from feet and ankle injuries). Please use an exercise or yoga mat if you have one.

c) Laptop/computer/phone with both the camera and microphone operational, so that teacher and coach can monitor your movements. You will need to have Zoom installed.

Date and Time

- 18 May (Tue) : 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm (1.5 hours)

- 20 May (Thu) : 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm

- 25 May (Tue) : 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm

- 27 May (Thu) : 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm

Please do not eat a heavy lunch before that.

Details of session

The Zoom details will be emailed to you later.
