🍞🍄🟫Bread MM Task Update:
• Collection of data for bread will be extended till *Friday of T1W7*. We will collect during lecture for disposal.
• Even without the data, groups can still fill the report with possible Mathematic models and talk about the assumptions and areas of improvement of the mathematic model.
• If groups feel that they have collected sufficient data for the report, you may pass their tutors the Moldy bread. Please inform your tutors in advance.
• The third session for discussion for MM task may be pushed to T1W8, up to your tutors to decide.

Keen to use data to design a Statistics Poster?
The NUS Department of Statistics and Data Science organises an annual poster competition for students in Sec 3 to JC 2. The objective of the competition is to expose young people to concepts and methods used in statistics and data science.
Submissions have to be in the form of a poster, in which students attempt to answer a well-specified question by means of a specific dataset.
Students may work individually or in teams. The maximum number of students per team is five. Students will work on their entries under the supervision of their teachers.
Students are free to choose a topic of their interest, but ESG-related topics (e: Environment; S: Social and G: Government) will be referred.
State clearly the specific questions that are to be answered using data. Self-collected/ published data can be used.

(1st July 2025) GC Design Competition
This is a chance for students to apply their mathematical knowledge and make creative use of their GC (graphing calculator) to showcase their ideas — all while celebrating Singapore’s 60th birthday and standing a chance to win attractive prizes!
The theme for 2025 is “SG60: From Past to Present, Celebrating a Nation!”
Students who are interested will need to submit their entries by 23rd July 2025.
