  Team Requirements

• Each team must consist of exactly 3 student members. (MIXED-GENDER participants )

• For school categories, each team must be accompanied by one teacher advisor.

• All team members must be from the same school / college / university.

• The Open Category also requires a team of 3 members, but participants are not restricted to the same institution.

• Wooden ice cream sticks (114mm x 10mm x 2mm)

• Cotton string No.7 (1.0 mm nominial diameter)

• UHU glue 

Teams are required to submit their requisition for Authorised Materials at least forty-eight (48) hours before the commencement of the Contest.

Teams who fail to submit their requisition for Authorised Materials within the specified time may still submit their requisition after the Contest has commenced, subject to the procedures determined by the Organising Committee.

Authorised Materials requested before the commencement of the Contest shall be placed at a designated location within the Contest Venue or to be collected from a designated place. Teams shall not handle or use the Authorised Materials before the official start of the Contest. 

• Span: 50 cm

• Total girder length: 50 cm – 80 cm

• Width: 15 cm – 30 cm

• Girder thickness: max 5 sticks

• Girder width: max 1 stick

• Crossbeams: 2 – 8 units

• All materials taken will be counted in scoring, whether used or not. 

Allowed:

• handheld battery-operated tools or devices. 

• Clamps / clips

(All tools must be removed before testing)
