Okay now before we start, please make sure you have your Get Smart Plus 3 textbook and your PDPR Module.

Open your textbook (page 35).

Look at the pictures at the top of the page and read.

The words tell different seasons in the world.

Seasons means ‘musim’.

Other countries (negara) like China, Korea, the UK and the US have different seasons in a year, not like Malaysia.

In Malaysia we only have 2 seasons, hot and rainy seasons. But in some countries, they have 4 seasons. The seasons are:

Autumn/fall - musim luruh

Winter - musim sejuk

Spring - musim bunga

Summer - musim panas

These seasons can be seen through the trees, land and many more.

During autumn, you can see the trees do not have leaves. Leaves will dry (kering) and fall to the ground. All the things in the surroundings will look brownish. Usually, it will rain a lot during autumn. Some people call autumn as fall. Autumn and fall means the same.

During winter, there will be a lot of snow. What is snow? Snow means ‘salji’. This is when the children like to make snowman. Do you know Olaf? Hehehehe. The weather is very cold during winter.

During spring, flowers bloom (berkembang) everywhere. The surroundings will look colourful and smell nice. It is so pretty during spring. And the sun will be out and sunny.

During summer, the sun will be out all day long and it is so hot. Usually, people will go for a swim or for a picnic at the beach. What is a beach? A beach means ‘pantai’.

SESSION 2

Okay, now that you already know the different seasons, please look at page 1 of your PDPR Module.

You need to draw and colour the trees according to the season.

Then, try to complete the lyrics in page 2. You can check your answers in your textbook (page 35).

When they reached Greg’s house, their friends were already there and surprised Greg.
