PHYSICS (DP024)

This course is to help students acquire knowledge, practical skills, scientific skills and problem solving skills in basic Physics required for students to continue study in Matriculation Programme.

At the end of this course students should be able to:

  1. Describe basic concepts of simple harmonic motion, mechanical wave and sound, direct current, capacitors, magnetism and optics. (C2. PLO 1, MQF LOD 1)

  2. Demonstrate manipulative skills during experiments of simple harmonic motion, sound waves, capacitor, ohm's law, magnetism and geometrical optics in laboratory. (P3, PLO 2, MQF LOD 2)

  3. Solve problems related to simple harmonic motion, mechanical wave and sound, direct current, capacitors, magnetism and optics. (C3, PLO 4, CTPS 2, MQF LOD 6)
