PHYSICS 2 (SP025)
This course focuses on definitions, theories and principles of electrostatics, capacitor and dielectrics, electric current and direct current circuits, magnetic field, electromagnetic induction, alternating current, geometrical optics, physical optics, quantization of light, wave properties of particles and nuclear physics.
At the end of the course, student should be able to :
Explain basic concepts of electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics. (C2, PLO 1, MQF LOC i)
Solve problems of electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics. (C4, PLO 2, MQF LOC ii)
Apply the appropriate scientific laboratory skills in physics experiments. (P3, PLO 3, MQF LOC iii a)
Interpret and use familiar and uncomplicated numerical and graphical data to solve problems in physics (C4, PLO 7, MQF LOC iii e)
