An exciting journey begins as I explore the intricacies of implementing flipped learning in the classroom. Through multimedia elements like videos, images, and written reflections, we will together gain insights into the challenges and successes I encountered along the way. Witness firsthand the evolution of my pedagogical practice, and learn how I transformed my teaching style to better engage and inspire my students.
After almost spending my whole life in school, in and out of classroom, using technology in both learning and teaching would greatly help in achieving goals in class. Using technologies such as computers, tablets, projectors greatly helps in my teaching and learning. As much as the technology helps us in education, how you maximized its potential will determined the succes of lessons. For this, i've dedicated much time and effort to understand how to use these technologies as much as possible. So much as technology greatly enhance the lesson, one should never forget, be practical, resourceful and creative as sometimes technology can only do as much.
Yes, it is crucial to understand that incorporating technology into education is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Its impact on student learning experiences can vary depending on various factors such as instructional goals, student demographics, and available resources. As a teacher who is dedicated to providing my students with the best possible learning experience, I understand the significance of balancing pedagogy and technology integration. It is important to ensure that technology serves to enhance rather than detract from the learning process. Ultimately, the thoughtful integration of technology in alignment with pedagogical goals can maximise student engagement, comprehension, and achievement.
It is a method using technologies primarily videos in which students do their homework at school and do their prior studies at home with their own pace and time.
To get to know with new material in an English lesson, students would watch the educational videos assign at home. They will engage in interactive exercises in class where they try to respond to questions and get quick response from the instructor/teacher. This method guarantees that well-prepared students will actively participate in problem-solving throughout class. In a language lesson, students also use language-related resources outside of the classroom, including readings or podcasts. Speaking exercises and group discussions is a must in class. As a result, students can study at their own pace outside of the classroom, while in-class activities help them understand the concepts better. In general, reversing the conventional classroom layout encourages student participation, individualization, and a lively learning atmosphere. As facilitators, teachers lead group projects and encourage participation in the teaching and learning process.
