EPISODE ONE

Futaba Yoshioka starts high school determined to reinvent herself. In middle school, she was popular with boys but shunned by girls. Now, she behaves more boyish and loud to avoid attention. Her plans falter when she reunites with her first love, Kou Mabuchi, who has drastically changed. He’s colder, more distant, and carries a new name. Kou tells Futaba he’s no longer the person she once knew.

EPISODE TWO

Futaba is conflicted over Kou’s drastic change and his indifferent attitude. Despite his coldness, she finds herself drawn to him again. Futaba also befriends Yuri, a new classmate who is similarly misunderstood by other girls. Yuri eventually confesses her feelings for Kou, which leaves Futaba even more confused about her own emotions.

EPISODE THREE

Futaba becomes closer with Yuri and other classmates like Shuko and Kominato. Kou continues to act distant, but his occasional moments of kindness confuse Futaba, making her question his true feelings.
