Join us on an exciting journey as I explore the intricacies of implementing flipped learning in the classroom. Through multimedia elements like videos, images, and written reflections, you'll gain insights into the challenges and successes I encountered along the way. Witness firsthand the evolution of my pedagogical practice, and learn how I transformed my teaching style to better engage and inspire my students.
As someone who has been teaching and learning for the past 15 years, I always incorporate educational technologies into my teaching and learning methods. I understand that the pace of technological advancement is rapid, but as a teacher, I am committed to keeping up with the changes. For me, pedagogy always comes first, and technology comes second. Sometimes, circumstances may not allow me to use technology, but I see it as a challenge to think of alternative ways to ensure that my students receive the best possible learning experience.
Yes, it is crucial to understand that incorporating technology into education is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Its impact on student learning experiences can vary depending on various factors such as instructional goals, student demographics, and available resources. As a teacher who is dedicated to providing my students with the best possible learning experience, I understand the significance of balancing pedagogy and technology integration. It is important to ensure that technology serves to enhance rather than detract from the learning process. Ultimately, the thoughtful integration of technology in alignment with pedagogical goals can maximise student engagement, comprehension, and achievement.
Flipped classroom is where you share the content of your lesson maybe in term of notes in Power Point Slides or videos ahead (before your actual class). Pupils thus would be able to study the notes/videos earlier and come in to your class with prior knowledge on the topic.
By planning the lesson earlier and give the information to the pupils before the actual class
