About Me
About Me
I have spent the past 20 years driving FinTech and Web3 innovation, and have been quoted in Reuters, Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, South China Morning Post, and others.
I am currently Co-founder of OSN, a payment and FX fintech company focused on empowering Belt and Road businesses to seamlessly integrate between Web2 and Web3.
I also serve as Senior Advisor and APAC Policy Lead for the Crypto Council for Innovation, a global alliance of crypto industry leaders dedicated to regulatory advocacy and demonstrating the transformational promise of digital assets. In this role, I engage directly with dozens of global regulators and policymakers — including the IMF, FSB, JFSA, EBA, HKMA, and others — to provide industry insights and policy recommendations. I additionally serve as APAC policy advisor for the Stablecoin Standard and Chair of the Stablecoin Ecosystem Working Group at Hong Kong-based Web3 Harbour.
Previously, I was CEO of the Algorand Foundation, where I led ecosystem development and token governance for the MIT-incubated layer-1 blockchain. Under my leadership, the Algorand network achieved a valuation of over $10 billion and reached top-10 status by market cap. Our team collaborated closely with payment providers and central banks on global monetary transfers, making Algorand the 3rd most circulated network for USDC at that time.
Before entering crypto and blockchain, I spent 15 years in leadership positions at cloud computing and open source software companies, working with major financial services institutions on Wall Street and across Asia.
I am a regular contributor to Forbes Digital Assets, host of the Onchain Capital podcast, and hold an Executive MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Computer Science degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
