JEN ROBINSON
TALK/DISCUSS: I would like to talk/discuss what folks are excited about learning, doing, creating, and activating these days. This is where I get all kinds of ideas for what I might like to try, or simply get inspired to think differently.
LEARN: I want to learn about current trends and tools, like how others have leveraged AI positively in their various environments, in order to enhance my district-adopted curriculum. I'd also like to learn by attending interesting conference presentations/sessions.
CREATE: In turn, I will leverage the knowledge gained to shape the PD I provide to cross-content departments as a member of the technology team in our new high school, opening in the fall.
SHARE/EXCHANGE: I would like to share/exchange ideas with others who design and deliver PD across content areas in tech, media literacy (and possibly AI). Our district does not have a digital literacy/media literacy focus, despite a previous partnership and PD-embedded multi-year program with Renee Hobbs, and a now historic (read: no longer) Digital Literacy Catalyst Team, of which I was a member. I attempt to bring the field into conversations when I am "in the room."
