3rd Grade: Writing a Fiction Summary

NOTE TO TEACHERS: Please see my gameboard attached below – students use this as a paper pacing guide. The items written in blue are must-do activities (videos, lesson work and mastery checks); the items in green are should do activities; the item listed in purple is an aspire to do activity. For guided notes, I print the Google slides that I used to create the videos (2 slides per page). I find that by printing the slides, it makes it easier for elementary students to follow along. Students are responsible for completing the guided notes by writing anything that I write in the video. Students can then keep the guided notes as a resource.

I use the platform Seesaw as a way to getting videos and lesson work to students. I will attach the Seesaw links for the videos & lesson work as well as EdPuzzle links for the videos.
