Lesson 3
World Maps
World Maps
As usual, watch the video and take notes! This time, however, take note of what color dot Ms. Gaskill placed on the map diagnostic she returned to you. The color of the dot will determind how long you should watch the video and your assignment for this lesson.
Time to practice! In order to meaningfully study world history, we need to know where the places we study are. Take the assignment that corresponds to the color of the dot on your map diagnostic. Green dot = mild assignment. Orange dot = medium assignment. Red dot = spicy assignment.
(teacher assigned different assignemtns and mastery checks, based on map diagnostic given at the end of the first class; Europen chosen for Medium and Spicy assignments and mastery checks because first content unit of the school was Industrial Revolution, which discussed European countries)
Show me what you know! You have to achieve at least 90% accuracy on this mastery check!
(numbers drawn on countries and continents directly before mastery check for each student)
Did you finish before the unit closed for the unit quiz? Great! You're ahead of pace and should go on to this unit's "aspire to do" lesson, 0.4, where you'll learn more about emailing your teachers and employers.
