In this video, I will show you how I use the MCP model when teaching kinetic energy to my 8th graders. You’ll see my instructional video where I teach students how to define and calculate kinetic energy, my guided notes that students use as they watch the video, and how I use a lab as a way to practice and understand the content. You’ll also learn how I make my mastery checks concise yet designed in a way that lessens cheating.
