I currently teach 8th grade Science, Robotics, and Functional Math in Loma Linda, California.

I first learned about the Modern Classrooms Project during the pandemic. I was searching for a way to improve student accountability in the virtual setting when I found MCP. I completed the Virtual Mentorship Program in March 2022, became a DMCE in May 2022, and started mentoring in January 2023. 

One thing I love about MCP is how the model clones me as a teacher. I can give instruction while actively helping students in the classroom. It has been a liberating experience using this model. 

When not at school, you can find me cooking international foods, coding, learning new languages and skills, and sleeping.
