Haris Khan, originally from Pakistan, embarked on his educational journey at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is now entering his second semester. Having arrived in the United States in 2009 with the aspiration of creating a better future, Haris is committed to pursuing a degree in Finance. Throughout his time at the university, Haris has immersed himself in numerous business courses, showcasing exceptional academic performance that has earned him a coveted spot on the Dean's List for two consecutive semesters. Fueled by a deep-seated passion for financial analysis and real estate, Haris envisions a unique career trajectory that combines his Finance degree with his aspirations in property investment.
Haris recognizes the value of practical experience, and to bridge the gap between academic and real-world application, he obtained a summer Real Estate license. This strategic move sets the stage for future internships that will allow him to integrate his academic knowledge with hands-on experience in both finance and real estate. Currently employed at his father's business, MYSTIK FOOD & FUEL, Haris has assumed a demanded manager role as a Gas Station Cashier/Attendant for the past three years. This position has honed his multitasking skills, requiring him to balance customer orders, staff schedules, and inventory control. Concurrently, at Home Depot, Haris holds a part-time position as a Warehouse Associate, where he manages box packaging and forklift operations. This role has instilled in him a meticulous organizational system and effective time management, ensuring the seamless flow of operations within the warehouse.
Outside of his profession, Haris values spending time with friends and family. Despite his busy schedule, he cherishes his role in his father's business and draws fulfillment from contributing to its success. Looking ahead, Haris aspires to secure a position that seamlessly integrates both his Finance degree and real estate interests. His diverse skill set, coupled with a strong academic foundation and practical experience, positions him as a promising candidate in the realms of finance and real estate upon graduation. Haris plans on taking an internship at Deloitte this fall where he can use his hardworking abilities to help build their company for the greater good of society.
