As for my goals in my career, I plan to be a journalist who strives to tell a narrative for a company like no other. Between mediums such as writing, photography, and audio, I have the skill sets to fit right in. Everything that I have collected knowledge wise in both COMM 2310 and 3700 will allow for these goals to become achievable. Beyond just the preparation of upper levels courses, the events I attended in 2330 allowed for me to broaden my horizons when it came to promoting events. This real-world experience is another goal I hope to achieve in the real world. As the real world has specifications and limitations when it comes to photojournalism and where you're taking pictures. Whether it be broadcast journalism or sports journalism, I want to tell a story. A story that captivates, speaks, and teaches the community that observes it. I want to incorporate the community through storytelling that is engaging, unique, and produces an emotional connection. As for digital journalism, I plan to achieve a level of narrative storytelling that leads me to work for a top ten news channel station in the United States.
