About ParentSquare For Families

ParentSquare allows you to receive notifications from your child's teacher, coach, club sponsor, or other school staff directly by email, text, OR through the ParentSquare app or website!
We encourage all families to install the ParentSquare app or access ParentSquare on the web to stay fully engaged with their child's school community. Follow these easy steps to download the ParentSquare app (or use the website) and register your account to receive updates, respond to messages, and stay connected with your child's school:
Download the ParentSquare iOS app, Android app, or visit the ParentSquare website.

Register your account (highly recommended, not required.)
Open the ParentSquare app or go to www.parentsquare.com
Enter the email or phone number associated with your MCPS ParentPortal account
Follow prompts to complete your account verification
By registering your account on the app or on the web, you’ll be able to:
Engage in two-way messaging with your student's teacher, coach, club sponsor, etc.
Receive all communication translated into 190+ languages
Easily sign up to volunteer and/or bring items
View the classroom calendar
Navigate & Customize your Account (You must be signed into your ParentSquare account to access these linked resources.)
Navigate: Parent Dashboard online or on the phone app
Customize your account settings:
Manage Your Account Settings - contact information, language, notification preferences
