Help Me Grow is an interagency effort of the Minnesota Departments of Education, Health, and Human Services, and their local programs to identify young children with developmental delays or disabilities for intervention services.

Our mission is to collaborate with community partners and families to promote awareness of early developmental milestones and the importance of timely referral for early developmental concerns.

Help Me Grow MN focuses on helping families/guardians and professionals learn about developmental milestones and how to refer when there is a question or concern about a child’s development. A referral through Help Me Grow as soon as developmental concerns are identified ensures the best outcomes possible.

One in seven women and one in ten men experience prenatal and/or postpartum depression and anxiety. Many parents are also survivors of childhood adversity or persistent toxic stress, which can increase risk for mental health struggles and make parenting challenging.

The Redleaf Center for Family Healing understands how stress and trauma impact children and parents, as well as the importance of hope and joy for families. We take a multi-generational approach to nurture the parent-child relationship by supporting mental health and parenting capacity. This approach builds a foundation for the nurturing, loving relationships that children and parents need to thrive.
