2025-2026 Candidate Application Process
FOUR representative from each class are elected annually. Student Council members are an important liason between Administration and MMU Students. Council members attend weekly (approximately 30 minutes) meetings on Tuesdays at 7:30 AM throughout the entire school year, as well as participating in numerous community service and school-related service activities (i.e. Homecoming, Blood Drives, Supreme Cougar contest, Winter Carnival, Penny War, etc).
Those interested in running for Student Council should fill out this form by Friday September 12th to be placed on the ballot. In the form is a space for an optional 30 second campaign video. Your video should answer 3 questions:
Why do you want to be on Student Council?
What leadership experience do you have that qualifies you to represent your class as a Student Council representative?
What changes would you bring and how specifically would you bring those changes?
Voting will take place the week of 9/15.
