World Languages at BRMS is an introduction to French (with Madame) and Spanish (with Señor Chase), taking place once per week for a semester.  The idea behind this course is to excite students and inspire them to want to further their exploration of foreign languages in the future. Students will also work on the development of critical thinking skills and begin to learn about French-speaking cultures. In 2026-2027, classes meet virtually one time per week, all year long: we will have about 19-20 class periods together. There will be informal, formative assessments and classwork each marking period.
