Homework Expectations

• Students have planners they update every morning. 

Reading

• Remember students only need to complete 20 minutes of reading every night Monday - Thursday.  Students know that if they miss a night due to events, sports, etc., then they are to make up that reading another night.   Students are expected to fill out a reading log Monday-Thursday.  

Math

• Students  will be given math homework on Mondays and it is due on Fridays. Students can choose how they want to structure their time to get their work completed. 

• We are looking for quality over quantity of their work. 

• Anytime homework is challenging, students are not completing work, or just need some extra support, we ask they spend  no more than 10 minutes of solid effort and then please reach out or have your student communicate with us so that we can support them.
