I am Mrs. Kathy Covone. My life is certainly happier because of our fabulous MMR Preschool Program! I have always had a love for teaching in the very early grades and that is where my years of experience in Catholic Schools lie. Teaching some of our youngest students is a wonderful responsibility that I am blessed to have! Preschool is a truly exciting time to learn and grow! I am thrilled to spread my love and share my Catholic Faith through our prayers, songs, Bible stories and most of all our actions as we learn to follow Jesus! Our 4 year old class will have busy days exploring letters, sounds, and numbers. We will discover hands-on learning, listen to great stories, and make creative art work. We will have exciting weekly "special classes" as well as have a wonderful time growing with our 7th Grade Prayer Partners. We will visit our Church for Liturgy of the Word, Mass, Services and Special School Presentations. Best of all, we will make fantastic friends while playing together! Each afternoon we will have a special time to pray and learn a little more about God and His amazing world.

MMR is family. My husband, children and I are members of the parish. My daughter Allison, an MMR Alum, attends Adelphi University. My son Andrew is entering 7th grade here at MMR. He will become a familiar face to our class:) Our family loves to spend time together in Ocean City, NJ when we are not in school. At home, we can be found either on the baseball field with Andrew or attending one of Allison's shows. My daughter and I love to bake and we all enjoy reading and watching our favorite team, the Phillies! 

We truly have much to be thankful for! My goal is that your child feels comfortable in our classroom and leaves happier for being with us. This year in Preschool learning will be a “journey, not a race.” I am so happy to be on this journey with you!
