Born on the first day of March in 1931, in Davao, Davao Province, Philippines, Ang's story is a tale of humble beginnings and artistic talent. His parents, Vicente Ang and Chin Lim, were Chinese immigrants from Xiamen and had a family of five girls before Ang arrived as the only son. Originally meant to be named "Ang Hua Shing," he opted out of the moniker upon realizing his cousin already bore the name given by his uncle. From a young age, Ang's artistic skill was evident - he was even taught the craft of charcoal portraiture by a commercial artist. Qi Baishi's style served as his inspiration during those formative years. After World War II, his family relocated to Cotabato, where he began creating billboards for movies.

Introducing Cruz, a gifted artist born in Malabon City on September 12, 1984, who graduated from the esteemed Far Eastern University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He refined his skills by studying at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde before embarking on a successful full-time career as a painter. Cruz is adept at both figurative and abstract painting, but what sets him apart is his ingenious approach of using bold colors and direct oil paint application on famous Filipino and European paintings. Despite initial doubts, Cruz's talent was rekindled after being mentored by the legendary Manuel Ocampo in 2011. Nowadays, Cruz is a well-respected artist in the Philippine art scene, with a remarkable sales and auction record and recognition in international exhibitions. At just under thirty, this art prodigy has only just begun.
