Originally meant to be named "Ang Hua Shing," he opted out of the moniker upon realizing his cousin already bore the name given by his uncle. Qi Baishi's style served as his inspiration during those formative years. After World War II, his family relocated to Cotabato, where he began creating billboards for movies.
