About NCWMEA

NCWMEA is an affiliate of the National Association of Music Educators (NAfME). NCWMEA holds two meetings annually in September and May for purposes of planning upcoming events, meeting and greeting new colleagues, and providing opportunities to share ideas and frustrations. All music teachers in WIAA District 6 (NCWAA) Schools are invited to participate. NAfME membership is not required to attend, although we encourage all music teachers to join the national organization that has done so much to promote music education.

*Please note that in order to attend contests or festivals, your school must have dues paid for music activities to WIAA District 6. For All-Northwest Choir-Band-Orchestra opportunities, you must be a current member of NAfME-WMEA.
