Overview

The Just In Time PD for February gave teachers a brief introduction to Universal Design for Learning. Participants engaged in a variety of strategies and activities which modeled UDL implementation. Finally, teachers were given a choice of how to reflect on UDL by creating an original product and posting to a collaborative space.

Learning Targets

1. Teachers will create a personal definition for UDL and justify why it is important.

2. Teachers will engage with strategies to analyze a lesson with a Universal Design for Learning lens.

3. Teachers will reflect on how to consciously plan for their classrooms with UDL in mind.
