Course Description:  Students will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math topics together through daily challenges incorporating independent work as well as cooperative and collaborative projects.  Additionally, each class will include a book and/or biography related to the day’s challenge to extend learning about S.T.E.A.M. topics and S.T.E.A.M. pioneers.  Hope you’ll join our S.T.E.A.M. Course Title: Destination Imagination (Enrichment)

Applicable Grade Level(s): Grade 4 - 6

Location: Mountain Lakes High School

Course Description: Destination Imagination is a fantastic program that calls itself the "largest celebration of creativity in the world"! Students in this course will engage in a variety of STEAM based challenges based on the famed international competition. The students will learn collaboration, design principles, creativity and problem solving while having lots of hands-on fun!

Course Title: Jazz Workshop  (Enrichment)  

Applicable Grade Level(s): Grade 5 - 8

Cost: $300

Dates: Monday, July 20th - Friday, July 24th  

Time: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Location: Mountain Lakes High School

Course Description: This one-week course/ensemble is designed for students entering grades 5 to 8. All instruments are welcome, but students must have one full year of experience on their instrument. This course will cover small group lessons, jazz history, jazz theory/improvisation, and full ensemble rehearsals. The program is intended to increase student confidence playing their instrument and knowledge about jazz history and improvisation. 

Course Title: Children's Theatre: Little Stars

Applicable Grade Level(s): Grade 1 - 3 (rising)

Cost: $700

Dates: Monday, July 6th - Friday, July 17th 

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: Wildwood Elementary School

Course Description: A two-week summer theatre camp that introduces young students to acting, movement, music, and creative collaboration. Campers will rehearse a scripted theatrical production while participating in theatre games and hands-on creation of simple costumes and sets. The program culminates in a final performance for families on the last day of camp.

Applicable Grade Level(s): Grade 4 - 9 (rising)

Cost: $1,750

• June 29th - July 17th, Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM (No class on July 3rd)

• Tech Week: Monday July 20th - Thursday July 23rd, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Show #1 Friday July 24th @ 6:30 pm (students will be needed 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM)

• Show #2 and #3 Saturday July 25th @ 3pm, 6:30 pm (students will be needed 1:30 PM - 8:30 PM)

Our staff and curriculum have grown, due to the ravenous interest in professional-level theater experiences for the community. We invite your child to jump in with us!
