About me

Hello!! My name is Junie Rafiq. I am married with four beautiful children. I have been an mjusd employee for the last seven years. This year is my third year as the school counselor at olivehurst elementary school. my goal is to help students develop positive attitudes toward school, learning, and build positive relationships with their peers and adults. It is also my goal to help students identify their emotions, self-awareness, recognize personal boundaries, practice problem solving, decision making, and coping skills.
