Ms. Tanya King

About me

My name is Tanya King. I have been teaching for 13 years.  I have been with Marysville Joint Unified School District for 8 years, all of which have been in Alternative Education. This is my 7th year at Independent Studies.  I have two sons. My sons play football and AAU basketball, and we are very passionate about sports. I try to lift weights at least 3 days a week and would like to compete in a bodybuilding competition.  We also enjoy traveling. I love to go anywhere with my best friend, Cristina.  I love art and one of my favorite things to do is go to art museums. I also love food, and my favorite foods are Peruvian and milk chocolate.   I have been all over the United States and I have also been to Mexico, Canada, England, Ireland, France, Holland, Peru, and Ecuador.  I hope to retire in Florida and live next to the beach.
