My name is Ms. McKinnon and I will be your 6th grade teacher for the 2022/2023 school year at Johnson Park Elementary School. This is my fifth year teaching at Johnson Park and my sixth year teaching 6th grade and I absolutely love it. Sixth grade is the best grade!

I grew up just south of Olivehurst in Lincoln, California, and I still live there. I attended Lincoln High School (Go Zebras!), and then Sierra College where I received a degree in Deaf Studies/American Sign Language. After junior college, I attended BYU-I where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as teaching credentials for both elementary education and secondary english. Most recently I attended Sacramento State where I received a Master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

In my free time, I love to craft, read, play soccer, listen to music, travel, and spend time with my family and friends!
