Welcome to 5th grade!

It will be my pleasure to be your teacher this year! Together, we will explore the depths of 5th grade curriculum. It will be a challenging and exciting adventure, heavily sprinkled with fun and laughter. Your high participation is expected and necessary for getting the most out of your experience here and in life. It is going to be AWESOME! So, let's do this!

An interesting thing about me is that I used to teach at Arboga Elementary. I left three years ago to teach 3rd and 5th grades here at Browns Valley Elementary (where I went to school as a kid). Then, I went back to Arboga last year, and now I am back at BV again!!! (Hopefully for good this time.) I have taught 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades so far, but my favorite grade is always the one I am currently teaching. This year, that is your 5th grade class! :)

Besides being a teacher and a busy mom of four amazing kids, I am a runner, a soccer player, a coach, and sometimes a choreographer too. I love to dance and listen to music. We will enjoy a bit of all of these activities together this year I'm sure, and I can't wait!
