STEAM is an educational approach to learning that allows students to explore through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.  This approach to education provides many opportunities for creativity, collaboration, exploration, and investigation while learning all of the content areas.  Increased exposure to these learning techniques allows students to gain experience in 21st Century skills throughout their education.   As standards and expectations of students change, teaching and learning must also be viewed through a new lens.  STEAM integration is essential in engaging students in NGSS content and will allow students investigative experiences that will spark excitement, creativity and ingenuity.
