• What is STEAM?

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.  It is an approach that is used to teach all of the content areas in a way that students are allowed to actively be a part of the learning process, while fostering creativity, ingenuity, and 21st Century Skills.

• How does STEAM help my student?

STEAM learning will aid your student in gaining the skills and content needed to be successful academically and eventually through a career.  It will help to develop critical thinking, cooperative hands on learning, and teach students to be problem solvers.  STEAM addresses learning in a multifaceted approach so that all types of learners are challenged and engaged.
