Access to Databases

Newsbank is a resource for current news (1980-present) and historical news (1690-2000).  Students can find nearly anything they need for primary media sources on events from the past and present. You can search in 17 different languages, and even cut out photos and sections for projects.

Google Scholar is hit or miss for research, but offers peer-reviewed articles for free!

Below you will find databases as well as other educational content and resources all accessible through the COMPASS program. I would recommend ProQuest Central Student for a great place to browse academic articles from journals and to conduct research.
