Miss Lopes is in her second year as the Music Director at Anna McKenney Intermediate School. She graduated from Sacramento State with her Bachelor's degree in Music Education and with her Teaching Credential. Ms. Lopes received the Sacramento State Marching Band Director's Award and was the Sacramento State School of Music's Outstanding Senior. Ms. Lopes is currently studying to earn her Master's degree in Music with an emphasis in Conducting at Sacramento State. 

In her free time, Ms. Lopes loves to spend time with her partner Sam, play with her cat Peggy, and watch movies/shows with friends. Her favorites are The Office, Orange is the New Black, Psych, and all of the Marvel movies/shows.

Ms. Lopes is excited to share her passion for teaching music with the students at McKenney as well as with the Marysville community!
