Uniform - Students are to dress in MHS PE uniform or Football Shorts and Shirts; no other footwear such as flip flops, boots, sandals, toms, etc. allowed. Students may wear any color sweats that they would like however nothing inappropriate as defined by the shield is allowed. If tights are worn they must have the school shorts over them. Same rules as in the classroom no hats, bandannas, etc.

Locks and Lockers - Students will be assigned a locker by their teacher. They are not allowed to trade lockers or share lockers without permission of the instructor. Please do not leave valuables in your locker during the school day especially after school and overnight. If you are concerned about something please give it to your teacher to hold.

Notes and Non Dress - Students are expected to dress out and participate every day. The only exception for dressing out is a doctor’s note, with all other notes the student is required to dress out but not participate. A note from home is only good for three days of non-participation, anything beyond that and a doctor’s note or note from the trainer will be required. If a student has a note excusing them from PE then they are not to participate in athletic events that day also. There is no such thing as saving yourself for a game. All athletes are expected to dress and participate on game days unless they have an early out and they have communicated with the teacher. No hats or sunglasses are to be worn during class or outside class time. No food or drink are allowed in the classroom. Students will be allowed to drink water as needed during activities.
