Hello! My name is Mrs. Burgess, and this is my 14th year teaching. In the past, I have taught a 5/6 combo, 1st grade, and a K-1 combo. I have been teaching 2nd grade for 8 years. I believe that each classroom is a family. I strive every day to create and maintain strong relationships with my students, while providing the best quality instruction that I can. It is truly a privilege to get to educate children. While I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and our four crazy dogs.
