ABOUT ME:
I am married, a mom to three boys, and I love reptiles! My Family moved to Browns Valley 7 years ago from Orange County, California. I have worked in the Education system for more than half my life (20+ years) and have been with MJUSD for 5 years. As an ORC I will assist students and their families, facilitate Student Study Teams (SST), monitor student progress, and work with the teachers to strengthen our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program (PBIS).
PURPOSE OF SST:
The purpose of the SST is to identify and intervene early in order to design a support system for students having difficulty in the school setting. It is an efficient way to bring together all resources (school, home and community) to help the student be successful.

WHAT IS PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based three-tiered framework to improve and integrate all of the data, systems, and practices affecting student outcomes every day. PBIS creates schools where all students succeed.
