Dear Students,

This is going to be a wonderful year in 2nd grade!! I am so pleased that you are in my class, and I can't wait to get to know you. This summer I hope you spent a lot of time with your family, had fun times and did some reading. You might be a little nervous about 2nd grade, but trust me, you're going to love it!

In Room 14 we genuinely care about each other. Whether we are in class, or working online, we will be learning to be kind and compassionate citizens. Each person's ideas and thoughts are important. You'll be forming new friendships, learning new concepts, and growing as an individual. I can't wait to meet you and get started!
