Hello Dear Parents,

This is Harun, I am married and have two wonderful kids.

This is my 9th year in teaching. I earned my master of education degree from Arkansas State University. I have a Texas Educator Teaching Certificate.

I taught in USA public and private schools. I taught social studies ( World History, Cultural Studies, etc.) in Texas and New Jersey States. I also worked as an administrator in a boarding school in New Jersey.

I also taught English in other countries such as Turkey and China.

In 2016 I came to Taiwan, and started to teach in a bilingual school in Taoyuan. This is my second year in Zhongshan Int'l Bilingual School.

I believe that we will become partners in your child education. Together we can make a team!

A Letter to the Parents

Dear Parents,

I believe that people learn a language to communicate with others. English is the tool to communicate with millions of people out there. Thus, see this language as a key for your kids to speak and write to others.

In the classroom I try to present the language in many ways. I use and reuse the same and similar sentence patterns again in different situations. I believe that kids learn the language when it is presented in more than one way. When we perform classroom activities your kid can hear the language, see the pictures, sing a song, play a game, etc.

Kids learn when they are motivated to practice and when they are enjoying themselves. So we play engaging activities or practice the grammar and vocabulary with games.

Please remember, you were your child's first teacher, and you continue to play an important role in your child education. Also you can help your child be successful in learning English. Don't worry about your English level, you can be a part of his/her learning.
