MJAFI Logo Contest - Terms & Conditions

  • The contest is open from 17 Sep - 15 Oct 2018
  • There is no entry fee for participating in the contest
  • The contest is open to all Indian individuals
  • Each contestant may make multiple submissions for the contest
  • All prize winning design of logo(s) will be the intellectual property/ copyright of MJAFI
  • MJAFI will have unfettered right to modify the prize winning logo(s) and add or delete any information or design feature in any form to it.
  • Plagiarism of any nature is not allowed. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the contest
  • The logo design must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 or any other law applicable in this regard. The logo should not have been previously published in any print and digital media and must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content
  • The disqualified or unrewarded entries shall not be used by the MJAFI for any purpose and shall have no intellectual right over the same.
  • The winner(s) will be notified by email and will be expected to submit high resolution digital / manual artwork of the designs.
  • There will be no notification to participants of rejected entries.
  • MJAFI reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.

Technical Parameters

  • The artwork may be in physical / digital formats.
  • The physical logo should preferably be scanned and submitted online. However, in case the contestant desires, a physical copy of the artwork can also be submitted at the o/o MJAFI, AFMC, Pune
  • The Logo should be in high resolution with minimum 300 DPI.
  • Participants should upload the Logo in JPEG/ JPG/ PNG/ SVG format only
  • Logo should be designed in color. The size of the logo may vary from 5cm*5cm to 60cm*60cm in either portrait or landscape.
  • The Logo should be usable on the website/ social media such as Twitter/ Facebook and on printed materials such as b/w press releases, stationery and signage, labels etc.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit and visual impact.
  • The decision of the Selection Committee would be final and binding on all the contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants of any decision of Selection Committee
