We're a Christian church focused on helping people (youth and children) at risk or in street situations, so they can know the love of God in a practical way and want to know Him to change their life story.
Name meaning
Written with the blood of Christ.
It means that Christ is still alive, because we know that He gave His life on the cross for the salvation of all who believe in Him and He rose on the third day, overcoming death.
That only in Christ we find life, hope and true happiness.

What we do and how we do it?
The gospel with an empty stomach doesn't taste the same way
This program was born with the desire to show God's love in a practical way to people in street situation with addiction problems in Guatemala City. Our desire is to introduce God, who says:
"I'm still alive (Sigo Vivo), I'm interested in you and I want to change your story."

We meet every Saturday in zone 3 of Guatemala City, we provide food and share relational time talking, listening and encouraging each other, we give medial consultation, Bible studies, eventualy clothing donation and diverse activities like games, crafting, dance, painting, etc.
Sigo Vivo Kids
During the time that we have worked with people in a situation or at risk of being on the streets, we have realized the need to have activities with children according to their age. This program was born as a response to this, creating a specific space for children who are part of Sigo Vivo. The children know the love of God in a practical, fun and dynamic way so they can have a different future.
We give medical consultation, Bible stories and crafts and sharing values.
Jesus in the streets
We started in December 2016 with visits to the places where the people who we served and attend our activities live (the streets), and visits to hospitals. When making these visits and the relationships baceme closer, we dicoverd other needs that were not yet coverd and we decided to start accompanying each of them closely and in more intentional way.
During the week we visit people living on the streets, jails, hospitals and courts. We wish to learn, celebrate and share God's love as a spiritual family through different activities.
Sunday Meetings
This program begins as a response to the need to form a community that helps people at risk or in street situations to discover their identity in God.
We have formed a community of Christian faith with homeless people and other brothers and sisters who want to share with them, to discover, undestand and apply our identity in Christ through reading and studying the Bible. We meet on a sidewalk on Sundays in zone 3 of Guatemala City, we praise God together with songs, we study the Bible with everyone participating and we share food.
One more year of studies
Seeng the reality of people living on the streets and the desire of some volunteers and children to study, God put it in our hearts to provide an economc amount to help those who want to continue their studies. Studies such as English classes, remaining years at school or university for all those who want to finish this stage.
Some people who want to study, need support and are part of Sigo Vivo, recive, as a provision from God, a little help so that they can continue academically during the current year.
Helping others
The program "Helping others" was born as a response to the need of one of the girls of Sigo Vivo who wanted to leave the streets and rent a room to offer a better life for her children. Over time we have noticed more things that the people who we serve need help and we decided to provide support.
We give economic support with a percentage of rent payment once a month between 1 to 4 beneficiaries, for a year (this with a commitment sheet signature). Also we deliver groceries to people of the church, financial support for the burial of homeless people who are part of our church, help with ID proceduers and provide medications or laboratory tests when necessary.
Doctor on the streets
By collaborating and offering support in both preventive and curative healthcare, may we show, learn, and remember the love of God.
We provide medications, medical consultations, and health guidance to other organizations, along with hospital referrals and various other services.
Leadership and volunteering
As we serve, we have realized that there are many aspects in which we must improve in order to carry out a much more effective job. That is why we have seen the need to train ourselvs in matters concerning what God allows us to do.
We receive training and have a time of koinonia (a relationship time) between the volunteers and leaders of Sigo Vivo.
