INTRODUCTION

ದಬ್ಬೆ ಜಲಪಾತವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಜಲಪಾತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹೊಸಗದ್ದೆ ಎಂಬ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಇದೆ. ಇದು ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಕಾಡುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಂದ ಆವೃತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಲು ಶಾಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. "ದಬ್ಬೆ" ಎಂಬ ಪದದ ಅರ್ಥ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ "ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳು", ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀರು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳಂತೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ, ಚಾರಣವನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸುವ ಅಥವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರತ ನಗರ ಜೀವನದಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲು ಬಯಸುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಸಿರು ಕಾಡುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಜಾ ಗಾಳಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಯುವುದು ಒಂದು ಸಾಹಸವಾಗಿದೆ. ದಬ್ಬೆ ಜಲಪಾತವು ಮೋಜಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಕರ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.
