Anjanadri Betta, located near Hampi in the Koppal district of Karnataka, is a significant hill believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. It's also known as Anjanadri Hill or Anjanadri Parvata. The hill's name, which translates to "Anjana's Hill," is derived from Hanuman's mother, Anjana, and his alternative name, Anjaneya. The region around Anjanadri is also associated with Kishkindha, the monkey kingdom from the Ramayana.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಂಪಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಇರುವ ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಹನುಮನ ಜನ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾದ ಒಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬೆಟ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಅಥವಾ ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಪರ್ವತ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. "ಅಂಜನಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟ" ಎಂದು ಅನುವಾದಿಸುವ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಹೆಸರು ಹನುಮನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಂಜನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಹೆಸರು ಆಂಜನೇಯನಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ರಾಮಾಯಣದ ವಾನರ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾದ ಕಿಷ್ಕಿಂಧಾದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದೆ.

ಹನುಮನ ಜನ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ: ಹಿಂದೂ ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಅಂಜನಾ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಹನುಮಂತ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. 

ಸ್ಥಳ: ಇದು ಹಂಪಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ನದಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಲಾಗಿ ಆನೆಗುಂಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬಳಿ ಇದೆ. 

ದೇವಾಲಯ: ಶಿಖರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹನುಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಂಜನಾ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ದೇವಾಲಯವಿದೆ. 

ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು ಹತ್ತುವುದು: ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಶಿಖರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಹತ್ತುವುದು ತುಲನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಸುಲಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. 

ರಮಣೀಯ ನೋಟಗಳು: ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯು ತುಂಗಭದ್ರಾ ನದಿ, ಭತ್ತದ ಗದ್ದೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತೆಂಗಿನ ತೋಟಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಭೂದೃಶ್ಯಗಳ ವಿಹಂಗಮ ನೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. 

ಮಂಗಗಳು: ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಮಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
