Before starting to work with JeanMarie, I was about one year into widowhood and was having a difficult time coping with the stress of a business that my husband had left behind. I was also dealing with a lot of pain after eliminating prescription medications.
The last six weeks of working with JeanMarie has helped me find a tremendous peace inside myself. But even more importantly, that I can tap into that peace whenever needed. Learning to use mindfulness as a way to deal with recent changes in my life has given me the ability to also learn more about my body without yielding to medication. When we began, my expectation was that a holistic approach would be to use supplements and vitamins to replace whatever my body needed. But finding it in foods, in hydration and in learning to destress and get myself moving has become a fun and rewarding journey.
JeanMarie's sessions made me comfortable enough to share my deepest concerns and I would be happy to recommend her to anyone who is in pain, whether it be emotional or physical. This time has been a blessing! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of working with Jean Marie Mitchell as a Nurse Coach at a point in my life when I needed some additional guidance and accountability to achieve my health and wellness goals. As a nurse myself, I am knowledgeable of what I need to do, but I was challenged by some "distractions" in my personal life that were causing me to be inconsistent with my exercise and choices for healthy eating. Jean helped me to focus on my goals and reestablish realistic strategies to help keep me on track. Before starting coaching, I felt like I was at a standstill in my life, constantly worrying about what other people thought about me and stressing about what was going to come next. After my first session with my health coach, I was able to become aware of unhealthy habits and together me and my health coach created a list of achievable goals that would guide me on my health journey. Each week we went over the goals and discussed what worked and what didn’t. By our last session I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that I no longer care about what others think of me and i feel like I am able to enjoy the little things in life that i used to overlook.
I had a fantastic experience working with my health coach, everything was personalized to my life and what I needed to work on. Working with Jean Marie made me feel understood and accepted for who I am. Overall, I would say my favorite thing about working with the health coach was that I was able to be 100% myself the entire time.

I’ve always cared a lot about what other people think, and I am now able to focus on myself and actually enjoy my life for what it is rather than looking around and wondering what other people are thinking about me.
throughout the process of working with JeanMarie I’ve discovered that there are a lot of things that contribute to a negative mindset for example one of the big things would be social media. Throughout our sessions, we worked on cleaning out social media and only making sure that I’m seeing things that are going to benefit me.
I would recommend coaching to literally anybody. There are always ways to improve your life and by having a health Coach it makes it 10 times easier to identify areas in your life that that can use improvement. Having a health Coach also helps keep you accountable, each week I had a specific goal to work on and knowing that I had to discuss those goals with my health Coach motivated me to work on them

When I came to Jean Marie I had a lot going on. I’ve had chronic headaches for 10 years, financial issues and overall body pain and fatigue. Our coaching sessions have helped me talk through my own setbacks and come up with achievable goals. The check ins helped hold me accountable and make sure I was making progress. I am now managing my pain better and working out daily which has helped with the body pain.
